We would like to inform you of an important change to our service offering from Walvis Bay.

As part of our ongoing efforts to improve network reliability, schedule integrity, and the overall customer experience across our West Africa network, we have undertaken a review of our service structure and vessel deployment. Following this assessment, and considering the capacity available within our network, we have made the difficult decision to adjust the coverage provided from Walvis Bay.

We understand that this change may affect your supply chain planning and future export requirements. However, to ensure greater network stability and service consistency across the broader region, we are required to realign our capacity and service focus.

As a result:

• Week 42 will mark the end of cargo acceptance from Walvis Bay to Europe and North America.
• Helene 642N will be the final W13 sailing from Walvis Bay serving these trades.
• Going forward, the W13 service will continue to operate but will be dedicated exclusively to Middle East and intra-African markets.
• For imports into Walvis Bay from Europe and North America, Maersk will continue to provide coverage via our FW6 service through the Far East.

We understand that this change may create challenges and our teams are therefore actively assessing alternative routing solutions and mitigation options to support your business wherever feasible.
